Situated on the inland side of the main road in Southport, in a pretty 2000 square meter garden with lovely sea views. For nature lovers, the birdlife at Cosy Cabins is wonderful. Small buck often graze right up to the fence and monkeys frequently come into the garden to steal from the fruit trees. All our self catering accommodation is pet friendly.AccommodationCosy Cabins comprises 2 small separate and individual units. Unit 1 Unit 1 is a two bedroomed cottage which sleeps 5. The main bedroom has twin beds and the second bedroom two bunks and a single bed. The cottage has a small lounge, seperate dining room, kitchen, shower-room and small veranda. Unit 2 Unit 2 is a pretty one bedroomed log cabin with a double bedroom plus a double sleeper couch in the open plan lounge/ dining/ kitchen area. Both units are are fully furnished and equipped with TV, stove, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, garden furniture & umbrella etc. Bed linen is provided and servicing can be arranged. The garden is fully fenced and gated, and an armed response alarm system is installed in each unit. There are small kettle braais which can be used anywhere in the garden as well as a paved communal braai area. Surrounding AreaSouthport Beach is a protected family beach, approximately 1,5km from Cosy Cabins. This very attractive beach has shady grassed areas, a guarded car park and is home to the popular Captains Anchor restaurant where you can sit outside under the trees and watch the waves while enjoying your meal or drinks. The cosmopolitan town of Port Shepstone is about 8km away where there are a variety of shops, restaurants and take-aways and go another 10 - 15km and you can experience the more commercial “buzz” of Shelly Beach, St. Michaels, Uvongo and Margate. The Wild Coast Sun is about 40km away where there is a variety of indoor and outdoor entertainment. For your relaxation some of the best sea fishing spots are very near, and there are many natural attractions close by if you enjoy sight seeing, walking or bird watching. And there's plenty to do for the adventurous - the highest commercial abseil in the world, wild swing, shark diving, scuba diving, snorkelling, boat based whale and dolphin watching, cycling and 4 x 4 trails etc.etc. - Or you could follow a craft trail, visit one of the museums or art galleries, or go game viewing at Lake Eland Game Reserve The Hibiscus Coast is also known as the "Golf Coast" because of the wealth of superb golf courses available. There are 10 within a 50km radius of Southport - the closest being at Port Shepstone Country Club just 8km away, which also offers other sporting facilities to guests.
