Accommodation

Constantia Uitsig Country Hotel offers rooms of exceptional grace and comfort with views of the hotel’s peaceful, landscaped gardens. All of the 16 garden rooms are beautifully appointed with their own verandah as well as en suite bathrooms with marble finishes.

There are five different types of suites: six Garden Twin Rooms, five Victorian Rooms, two Manor Suites, two Family Rooms and one Superior Suite.

We offer a comprehensive range of treatments and therapies, and are the only spa in South Africa to offer ‘Les Aromes du Vin’, a body treatment based on the aromatic components of fine wines.

Housed in the original Cape Dutch Homestead, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and vineyards, Constantia Uitsig Restaurant has earned an international reputation for a stylish, yet relaxed atmosphere and offers widely varied Mediterranean Provencal Cuisine. Since its inception in 1992, Constantia Uitsig Restaurant has consistently featured amongst the top restaurants in South Africa.

La Colombe
La Colombe has been voted as the 12th top restaurant in the world by the San Pellegrino World's 50 Best Restaurants Awards 2010 and has achieved the highest three star rating in both the 2009 and 2010 issues of the acclaimed Rossouw’s Restaurants guide. This restaurant, won both Chef of the Year and Restaurant of the Year in the Prudential Eat Out Awards 2008, and was once again honoured with the prestigious Restaurant of the Year title for 2009. River Café
Situated at the entrance to the Estate, River Café has long been a popular social haunt in the Constantia Valley. Whether for breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks or dinner - with casual ambience, pristine location and friendly service - River Café is the place to be! As befits its laidback persona River Café offers authentic and affordable bistro-style dining, using only the freshest local ingredients and wines from the Constantia Valley. The menu changes daily allowing diners to experience a wide variety of dishes that reflect the best seasonal offerings.

The Wine Shop

Situated at the entrance to the Estate, The Wine Shop offers tastings of the Constantia Uitsig Wines seven days a week. Informal tastings are offered at a fee (please enquire for five wines. Tasting fees are waivered if accompanied by a purchase of 6 bottles of wine or more. Formal educational wine-tastings are available by request only for groups of up to 30 people at The Wine Shop, at an additional fee (please enquire).
