Constantia Lazy River is right in the heart of Constantia, close to all the Constantia Wine Farms, 2 minutes from Constantiaberg Hospital, 2 minutes from Constantia Village shopping Mall, close to family and fine dining restaurants, 15 minutes from Kirstenbosch, 20 minuntes from Cape Town central, 10 minutes from both the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, close to Golf courses and many other activities.ACCOMMODATIONConstantia Lazy River consists of four self catering units that are aptly named after the Diep River. Your hosts Janine and Alan Verwey will try to make you feel at home with a laid back atmosphere where families and children are welcomed. The Willow Suite The Willow Suite is a family apartment with view’s over the Cape Mountain, the pool, garden and river. It comprises of separate living area with fire place, kitchen and sitting room opening up onto a private veranda. The main bedroom has a king size bed and is spacious, light and airy, the second bedroom is really for kids with a bunk area. The unit has one en suite bathroom with double vanity, bidet, 3 corner bath and separate shower. Arum Cottage Arum Cottage is another family unit that comprises of a separate living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting room and then a double bedroom and twin bedroom, both en-suite. It can also inter lead into Frogg’s Leap to make a third bedroom option. Great for a family, plus Grand parents. Frogg's Leap Frogg’s Leap is attatched to Arum Cottage but has its own entrance, it is a open plan studio unit with double bed and shower en suite. It has semi self catering facilities to prepare lighter meals and snacks. It also has the option to inter lead into Arum Cottage if required. Pheasants Nest Pheasants Nest is another studio unit that is open plan with twin beds, it is fully self catering and has a shower en suite. FacilitiesAll units are stylishly decorated. Each unit has a private entrance, are self catering, have 100% cotton sheets, safes, hair dryers, wall heaters, fans, tea and coffee facilities, TV with M-Net and shared DSTV. There is internet access and babysitting facilities on request. There is also a boma barbeque area, salt water pool and play area with swings and slide for children. Cots and highchair can be provided. All units are non smoking. Servicing from Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays. Constantia Tea and Coffee BeaneryAll guests at Constantia Lazy River receive a 20% discount on food and beverages at the Constantia Tea and Coffee Beanery in Constantia Village. They serve breakfast, lunch, teas and speciality coffees, cakes, muffins, wraps, pies, salads, soups, etc. Open from 08h00 to 18h00 weekdays, 09h00 to 17h00 Saturdays, 09h00 to 14h00 Sundays.
