The millionaire's beach houses of Clifton have a long and gracious history and the area's national heritage status has ensured that it maintains its atmosphere of a quiet seaside retreat. Christine's Beach Cottage is one of these exclusive private houses and offers you an unforgettable, classic beach-house holiday. ACCOMMODATIONChristine's Beach Cottage accommodates six people in three bedrooms. The upper level of the house features the master bedroom with to-die-for views, a bathroom, separate toilet, main kitchen (open-plan), main living area, lounge and a large entertainment patio. The lower level has two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one en-suite) and a second open-plan kitchen and living area. All bedrooms have direct access to outside patios which are perfectly positioned for an outdoor breakfast in the morning sun, or to read a book in the afternoon shade of the trees. The sitting area is equipped with a gas barbecue and has surround views of the beach, sea and mountains. The two modern kitchens are amply equipped with stoves, ovens, crockery, cutlery, utensils and appliances, and the house has televisions, DVD players and Hi-Fi's. The total inside area is 185 m2 (2,000 ft2). LOCATIONChristine's Beach Cottage is located at Clifton Fourth Beach (near Camps Bay), with access by a footpath and steps to the beach just 50m away. It is set amongst leafy indigenous vegetation and fruit trees, with outstanding sea and mountain views, and a privacy that sets it apart from the crowds. Although Clifton is an extremely popular beach, the house itself is peaceful and quiet. Children and Accessibility Issues:Please note that the cottage cannot be considered "child safe" and is therefore not suitable for small children (1-6 years old). We would also like to advise people who have difficulty with stairs that, although it is one of the most accessible houses in the area, there are nevertheless some stairs to negotiate.
