Go and stay there and you'll see. Excellent location to malls and beach. Lovely Hosts. Nice and quite area. Breakfast is fantastic. Nothing is too much trouble at all. |

What a lovely stay! There is a very definate difference between courtesy and friendlyness. At Chardonnay we received both in abundance. That, together with a very elegant and comfortable room, a choice of breakfast options (expecially the omelettes!) and availability of all required amenities made for an extremely relaxing holiday. I booked at Chardonnay in December 2010 with my wife, Thandi, we felt that beautiful warmth and peace of mind. Breakfast was perfect and spot on. Chardonnay is nice for couples. Please keep up the wonderful work Chardonnay. |

We would highly recommend Chardonnay Guesthouse to anyone staying in Durban. We were delighted with our 7 night stay here and it was the perfect start to our three week world cup tour around SA. The accommodation was hard to beat! The rooms and setting are fabulous, a great breakfast is provided on the patio every day (weather permitting) and hosts Barry & Janice are lovely! Thanks for a great stay. |

We stayed here for 5 nights. Could not have picked a better place. Local area was perfect. Close to what we needed, clean and safe. Rooms were very clean and had all the ammenities you need. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent every morning. Own entrances, which were perfect. Off street, secure parking. WiFi hot spot. Barry and Janice were excellent hosts. Were very helpful to us and we can't thank them enough. Would not hesitate to reccommend this guesthouse to anyone and would love to go back and stay here. |

Beautifully appointed big & comfortable rooms in peaceful location within easy distance (5 and 15 minutes) from beaches and two upmarket malls. Delicious, hearty breakfast served on a large shady patio bordering a peaceful garden. Loved the off street parking..
