The most magnificent views in Robertson of the Langeberg Mountains can be enjoyed from the veranda of our two upstairs rooms where you can relax and sip your evening sundowners. Cedar Lodge is centrally situated to all amenities and excursions.

We offer three tastefully decorated double en-suite rooms and one family / executive suite. The rooms are named for their individual bathroom themes, i.e. Kalahari, Tarentaal, African Footprint and Ndlovu.

ROOM 1 - KALAHARI ROOM (LUXURY DOUBLE ROOM):
Ground level, en-suite with shower. Private entrance and veranda overlooking the garden; king size bed; tea and coffee making facilities; ceiling fan, heater, clock radio, hairdryer; swimming towels available.

ROOMS 2 AND 3 - TARENTAAL AND AFRICAN FOOTPRINT ROOMS (STANDARD DOUBLE ROOMS):
Upper level, en-suite with shower. Private entrance and veranda with mountain views. queen size bed; tea and coffee making facilities; ceiling fan, heater, clock radio, hairdryer; swimming towels available.

ROOM 4 - NDLOVU SUITE (FAMILY / EXECUTIVE SUITE):
Ground level with private entrance and veranda. Main bedroom with double bed en-suite with shower; separate lounge / dining room area with double sleeper couch; fully equipped kitchenette; tea and coffee making facilities; fans and heaters, clock radio, hairdryer; swimming towels available.

Breakfast and dining

Breakfast is served in our dining room or on the pool deck. This varies from the traditional full English or Continental breakfast to the likes of Eggs Benedict, Haddock Sublime, Savoury Pancakes and many more such breakfast treats.

Cedar Lodge is renowned for its “fine dining” evening meals, to quote one of our guests “Cedar Lodge is the only 5-star restaurant in Robertson”. Unfortunately we are not open to the public, but only for the pleasure of our guests (by prior arrangement). Our fine dining three or four course evening meals are created by Chef Paul, assisted by his wife Lynne, from his experience in the hotel / catering industry blended with flavours from European travels and chartering their 40’ catamaran through tropical island paradises. Availability, freshness and experience are the key ingredients to the successful ‘plat du jour’.
