Situated in the delightful village of Gordons Bay, Cape Sea View is an ideal place to relax and enjoy your holiday. Sit on the balcony and look out over the Indian Ocean and marvel at the magnificent sea and mountain views. During the months of June to November the bay is visited by the Southern Right Whales and the dolphins are never far away. AccommodationAccommodation consists of 3 holiday apartments, all self catering and reasonably priced. Whale sleeps up to 7 people in 3 bedrooms, Dolphin sleeps up to 4 people in 2 double bedrooms (with a sleeper couch in lounge area) and Seal is our studio apartment for 2 people. Tastefully decorated, all have TV and private entrances. 180º degree seaviews, patios or wooden sun decks, gas or wood burning BBQ's, fully equipped kitchens, high quality linen and towels, cast iron patio furniture, wooden picnic tables and benches. If you love sunbathing you can soak up the sun from our spacious balconies throughout the year and watch the sunset over False Bay while tasting our famous Cape Wines. The scenic village of Gordons Bay is isolated from the hustle and bustle of city life and yet only 30 minutes from Cape Town International Airport. The Area & ActivitiesThe apartments are only a stone's throw away from the Gordons Bay beaches, which offer safe and warm waters for bathing, wind surfing, scuba diving, water skiing, yachting and fishing spots. For the more adventurous hang gliding, cliff jumping and watching the big white death shark from a cage underwater. For the golfer there are more than enough courses of excellent standard. We are 50km from Cape Town, centrally situated to visit the Waterfront, Winelands, Garden Route and scenic drives to Hermanus, Cape Point and Agulhas, the most southern town on the African continent. A popular mountain hiking trail is only 300 metres away where you can enjoy the clean mountain air and the view of our yachting harbour and the town of Gordons Bay. The Helderberg Basin offers a host of excellent restaurants of which some are within walking distance. The two harbours at Gordons Bay offer sunset boat cruises, private party charters and boat functions. Other interesting places to visit in the vicinity include Table Mountain, Cape Point, The West Coast, local townships, Robben Island, Vergelegen Farm, the world famous Kirstenbosch Gardens and a few nature reserves. |
