DIRECTIONS

From Johannesburg
From airport, take the R21 to Pretoria and follow the N1 north freeway to Pietersburg/Polokwane. (Some signs say Pietersburg and some say Polokwane. It is the same town) Take the N1 to Pietersburg / Polokwane. As you approach Pietersburg/Polokwane take bypass to Tzaneen on the R71. Go through two 4-way stops. Reach traffic lights at R71 turn right to Tzaneen. Stay on R71 to Tzaneen (watch signposts). After +- 50-60 kms see Haenertsburg village on right. Continue past that, staying on R71 to Magoebaskloof. After +-5 kms. pass Stanford Lake College on left, go across the bridge with the lake on either side of the road, and up the hill, just after the 6 km. marker on left see a small dirt road with a small green and yellow sign A25, and green and white sign “Cair Paravel A25.4” at the top of the hill on the S-bend. Turn left atA25 go 500 metres, and come to A25.4 “Cair Paravel”, large white house with dark grey roof, and small white cottage at the corner. Drive up to the main house for reception.

From Tzaneen
From Tzaneen look out for Polokwane/Pietersburg signs and follow them. The road is also going to Duiwelskloof/Modjadjieskloof. Look for Magoebaskloof Pass )R71) (signs are dodgy so followw signs to Magoebaskloof Hotel). Turn left onto this road (it is the first major turnoff, +- 5 kms out of Tzaneen) opposite Marensky High School. Travel +-30kms up pass. Pass the Magoebaskloof Hotel on left (not the Magoebaskloof Restcamp) travel 2.2 kms and look out for A 25 small green and yellow sign and “Cair Paravel” A25.4 on right. Turn right at A25 - continue with the above directions.
