Oranjezicht Accommodation / Cactusberry Lodge Cape Town Accommodation / Bed & Breakfast in Oranjezicht

Cactusberry Lodge - with all the charm of an old Victorian townhouse in a quiet residential area but the comforts of today's world - offers Bed & Breakfast accommodation, just a stroll away from the city buzz and all its attractions, restaurants and shops.

Cactusberry Lodge is a beautiful old Victorian town house, newly renovated, with high ceilings and Oregon pine floors some of which have been replaced with natural slate.

Accommodation

There are 4 en-suite guest rooms, with ceiling fans and heating, 2 of which have a fully equipped kitchenette (with microwave / grill, fridge, toaster and kettle).

Breakfast

English or continental breakfast is served in the diningroom or the peaceful courtyard. In the diningroom, which leads out through french doors to the courtyard, we exhibit up and coming South African artists whose pictures are for sale.

Facilities

The old courtyard is a haven of peace and serenity with a braai area and a splash pool to recover from the summer heat.

There is a large comfortable guest lounge upstairs, with TV for your relaxation and more paintings by our local artists whom we encourage and support. The lounge leads out to a wonderful, large sun deck where one can lap up the sun and enjoy the breathtaking view of Table Mountain.

Sundowners can be enjoyed on the large sundeck with a stunning view of the mountain and there is a splash pool for when it's just too hot. Braai and parking facilities on request.

We speak English, French and German and endeavour to make your stay in Cape Town an unforgettable one.

Cape Town Weddings

Cactusberry Lodge has facilities to cater comfortably for 12 wedding guests seated. Special catering arrangements available on request.

Attractions & Activities

Cape Town is a wonderful, exciting city with its multicultural rainbow nation with diverse forms of art and culture. The guide books are full of descriptions of the Cape winelands, the beaches, the mountains but we would love to assist you to enjoy "insider" activities, like visiting some little avant-guard theatres, spending an evening learning to play a drum, staying overnight in Khayelitsha, visiting some special restaurants eating African and Moslem food and don't forget the African market on Sundays at Green Point.

We look forward to your stay and helping you enjoy yourselves in this magnificent country.
