DIRECTIONS

Butterfly Cottage is situated near the N2, 35km south of Piet Retief and 65km north of Pongola. Take the “Commondale” exit off the N2, proceed for ±10km and take the “Honongkloof” exit. Travel 3km on the gravel road and turn right at G. Kohlmeyer / Butterfly Cottage sign.

Alternate Routes:
Take the R33 from Piet Retief to Paulpietersburg. On this road, take the “Commondale” exit. Travel 11km, on the Commondale road, then take the “Honingkloof” exit. Travel 3km on the gravel road and turn right at G. Kohlmeyer / Butterfly Cottage sign.

Take the R33 from Paulpietersburg to Piet Retief, after ±18km take the “Commondale” exit. Travel 11km, on the Commondale road, then take the “Honingkloof” exit. Travel 3km on the gravel road and turn right at G. Kohlmeyer / Butterfly Cottage sign.

Follow the farm road, cross a dam wall and travel up to the homestead.
