I had inquired and booked my stay at Bufflesdrift soley on line. It was the most pleasant experience I had on my drivig tour of South Africa. The accomodations far exceeded my expectations. The staff was the most courteous I had experienced in any of my travels. The knowledge and the experience of the park guides (Tim) was impressive beyond words. The food was first class, it was a culinary treat for a foodie like myself. I have often wished that I would have planned my stay longer. There are so many details to service that it would be impossible to list them all.....and futher more I wouldn't want to spoil the surprise for any of you who are considering staying at this lodge.
In my opinion it is a must for anyone traveling through the area...you're relatively close to the town but you'd never really notice if you didn't know it was there.
A superb experience....one that I will most definatley frequent whenever I am in South Africa.

we visited buffels drift on a month long holiday whilst visiting family.
i absolutely loved the fact that you can have a horse back safari and enjoyed every moment of this spectacular experience.
we highly reccomend this beautiful experience and for other couples or familys to visit.
we are even considering getting married at this amazing reserve where it can be wild, romantic and intimate all at the same time and i love that your guest can also stay at the reserve.
the staff were friendly and made us feel soo welcome, out of the two game reserves we visited, this was the best by far! thank you buffels drift for a lovely experience to our visit in december 08.
