A lovely location snd we were upgraded from a rondavel to a luxury room. But the menu was very limited and the staff were friendly but offhand making us feel a nuisance at times. Overall we enjoyed our stay but wouldn’t try rush back.

Best place in the WHOLE WORLD! Even if i didn't get to see the Hippos!

We had a wonderful stay at the lodge. It's a beautiful little bush retreat. We regret that we only booked for one night and I wouldn't recommend it just as a stop over on the panorama route, as it is located deep in the bush with an additional 20 min dirt road drive from where Google takes you but it's definitely worth it if you have the time. The staff is very friendly and the food was excellent but dinner is quite pricey. The rooms were beautiful, even nicer that on the pictures in a classic bush lodge style and they even upgraded our room for free. We will definitely try and come back again.

We loved the laid-back vibe of the lodge. Very peaceful and quiet with the river nearby for a morning cup of coffee on the rocks, the swimming pool opposite our house, and a beautiful big private boma for nighttime fire. We enjoyed a lovely 3-course meal at the restaurant one of the evenings. The staff were amazing - friendly, helpful and informative.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. What a beautiful lodge and gardens with tame kudu and nyala roaming around. The hippo siting on the first day was a real treat. The food was delicious and perfectly cooked. Can't wait to go back to this gem of a place.

Beautiful oasis along the blyde river with lovely lawns and decks. We stayed in the owl house which was self catering. Great swimming pool. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was basic but met our needs. Staff were wonderful, helpful, well trained and accommodating. We got a complimentary car wash too. We took a walk and got to see seven giraffe up close.

A great place. Cynthia is a wonderful host, everything is perfect. We were 7 French people travelling through SA and we all keep marvellous memories of the place, the food and the people.

Its a pleasent place to go for relaxing and quality time with a spouse
