Little Lions Head and Judas Peak are the magnificent backdrops to this spectacular bay. Whales, dolphins and seals are sighted frequently in the bay. Nearby Sandy Bay is a nudist beach and is very popular with both locals and tourists, with stunning beaches & breathtaking scenery on route. Hout Bay is the closest village offering plenty of shops, restaurants and many tourist attractions including the world famous Chapman's Peak Drive which has incredible views of Hout Bay, Seal Island, Kommetjie and Noordhoek Beach where David Lean's film - Ryan's Daughter was filmed. Mariners Wharf is also something not to be missed with curio shops, sea food shops & a restaurant. The World of Birds is situated in Valley Road and is also a popular tourist attraction as well as the Hout Bay Museum. Nearby Camps Bay is also a very popular tourist destination with plenty of restaurants along the beachfront as well as a magnificent beach. Llandudno is on the Atlantic coastline and is 20 minutes from the V & A Waterfront, Cape Town city centre and 40 minutes from Cape Town International Airport.
