The spectacular Hogsback enjoys a country-quiet environment with waterfalls, mountain streams, mystical forests and swirling mists. “Blue Moon” is situated at the foot of Tor Doone and set in an attractive garden, the cottage is tastefully decorated, complimented with antiques and French Style country decor. Self Catering AccommodationThe Living area Spacious and stylishly furnished, with fire place and French doors opening onto a wraparound verandah, where the magnificent views encompass the Three Hogs, Tor Doone and the forest lying in the valley of the mountains...enjoy the swirling mists or summer storms from this unique advantage point. The Kitchen Modern fully-equipped kitchen with an old Dover wood burning stove. The Bedrooms The generous main bedroom with it's own fire place, queen bed with crisp linen, mahogany antique wardrobe, comfy fireside chairs, paddle ceiling fan, electric blankets and also French doors onto the verandah. There is a small second bedroom with two single beds. The Bathroom The original old Victorian bath is in the centre of the room which also has a chandelier and wall mounted heater. You can enjoy all this in the privacy of the only cottage on a two acre stand. Attractions and Activities"Blue Moon" is central to many of the must do activities on the mountain. Journey into the village in search of fine dining at a variety of resturants, pubs, coffee shops, Deli and a Bistro or enjoy browsing through a local gift shop. Discover the local talent of various artists, potters or the candle maker. Visit the 75 year old St Patricks Chapel on the hill or take a tour of the many beautiful gardens.
