About Blommekloof Country Cottages

Located in the hidden, secret valley of Leeukloof are Blommekloof Country Cottages. The twin self catering cottages offer a relaxing break in the country where charm, a sense of peace, a connection to nature and nostalgia all work together as if by magic to leave you feeling rested and restored.

Self Catering Accommodation

Old Cottage:
Our lovely, historic labourer’s house has been restored in style. The cottage has low ceilings, thick walls, a flat roof and huge personality!

Sleeping eight, the cottage has three bedrooms. Two have double beds and one has two single beds. There is also a double sleeper couch in the lounge. In addition to this there is a cot for small babies and bunk beds for extra children! There are two bathrooms; one with a bath and one with a shower.

The lounge has a fireplace, library and cupboard full of games to keep you entertained during the evening or on a rainy, wintery day.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering and the covered patio has a braai area and outdoor dining table.

Sunflower Cottage:
Sunflower Cottage was designed to capture the spirit of the Cape and the energy of the sun. With a large, open-plan living area and a wide, covered patio, it’s a comfortable, practical house where you’ll relax completely.

There are two bedrooms; one furnished with a double bed and one with two single beds. There is one bathroom with both a bath and shower.

The open-plan living and lounge area has a wood-burning fireplace and the kitchen is fully equipped for self catering. The covered patio has a braai area.
