Great cottage, comfortable, stylish and so well designed. Very clean and well equipped and maintained. Host and staff helpful and friendly. Good location, easy walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants. Don't miss The Alchemist for drinks and snacks and La Parrilla for a fantastic meal.

My husband and I had the best time in years. The design of the cottage, the two fireplaces, the garden, the pool, the privacy, was unmatched to anywhere we have stayed. Klaus, the owner, was the nicest person, helpful, very intelligent, friendly and caring for our comfort and well-being. My husband kept asking, can’t we stay here, and never leave. It was an ideal place and a home better than our own. We will be back.

This was truly a gem and I highly recommend it! Klaus was a wonderful host. The cottage is beautifully and cleverly designed, and although it appears simple and understated nothing was scrimped on. I wish we could have stayed on! The pool was small but perfect for cooling off. The village of Riebeek Kasteel is quaint and quiet. The cottage had all the amenities we could want - excellent wifi, kitchen utensils, braai area, modern clean showers and linen. The couches were so comfortable too. Although it is a small property it did not feel cramped and we just loved it!! Especially the patio area which was especially perfect to relax after a good braai and to watch night fall. There is not one fault or criticism I could give! It was perfect for us after a long 2 weeks of intense travelling and flying around South Africa. Thank you again for such a wonderful break!
