6 of us shared this beautiful home by the Sea at Kalk Bay. Ideal in almost every respect. Superb views from the living area and master bedroom (which we all shared a few nights each). All the facilities and well located with a walk 100 metres down a cobblestone street to trendy Kalk Bay...great part of Cape Town. Good security. Only let down was we had the house keys (unidentified) stolen along with my brother in laws jacket whilst we dined at Harbour House and Harbour House didnt give a stuff and the agents charged us several hundred dollars to replace the keys which had an alarm software requiring re-setting. Marred an otherwise wonderful stay. Watch your security when there....dont leave the gate open...once you drive your car in, lock down the gates...same goes with the house. Dont let it spoil an otherwise wonderful holiday home in a terrific part of the world though...with simply spectacular views!!
We stayed for a whole week during the peak whale season, the house is superb, it had everything we wanted, I love to cook and the kitchen was so well equiped. Bishops View is an effortless home away from home, but with views that kept us staring out to sea most days. We slept with the doors open and could hear the whales in the bay. Can't wait to come back - we are counting the days, the staff and whole atmosphere are so welcoming, they organised us daily massages at the house. And getting into town was easy, our daily swims in the tidal pools, just down the road, were so invigorating, the restaurants Olympia cafe and Polana were amazing and only a few minutes stroll down the cobble streets. Thank you thank you thank you. And see you soon. Regards

Children of all ages are welcome, however guests must understand that the property is not child friendly. There are many verandahs with cable balustrades, 2 spiral staircases and the swimming pool is sunken into the deck (fitted with a removable tension safety net).
