Eshowe is steeped in history with the Norwegian missionary museum - dating back to the mid 19th centuary, Fort Nongquayi. And the Vukani basket museum, well known for its selection of baskets. Shops, banks and post office are close by. There are restaurants and many take aways in the town.
Eshowe is on the Zululand birding route, and we are 15min away from Shakaland and its traditional Zulu dancing and food. Lake Phobane is 20mins away and well known for its bass fishing.
