Situated in prime location in Plettenberg Bay is this spacious, well equipped double storey river front unit. One of 60 units in the popular and sought after Beau Rivage complex, just around the block from the Beacon Island Hotel and Central Beach and across the road from the Beacon Isle mini shopping complex.

Accommodation


Comprising of 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, this unit can comfortably accommodate 11 people with the option of a further 2 willing to sleep on fold-out sleeper chairs, ideally for smaller children.

The unit is positioned at the very end of the complex nearest the Beacon Isle Hotel and enjoys partial views of the lagoon, mountains and hotel. The downstairs section is spacious offering open plan lounge and sitting area with fire-place, extending into open plan dining area and kitchen with hatch. The living area opens onto tiled undercover patio with partial views. The patio area further extends into 'small' fenced-in communal garden. A hot and cold beach shower is located just off the front of the unit for your convenience.

All bedrooms and bathrooms are upstairs, except for the downstairs guest toilet, and are configured as follows: the main bedroom is spacious, and is fitted with a king size bed and has en suite facilities (bath/shower/toilet) with partial views of the lagoon, mountains and Beacon Island Hotel.

The 2nd bedroom is fitted with 2 bunk beds (sleeps 4) and 2 single fold-out sleeper chairs. This bedroom is compact and ideal for smaller children. The 3rd bedroom is fitted with a queen size bed and has en suite facilities (bath/toilet). This bedroom opens onto a balcony with views of the lagoon, mountains and Beacon Island Hotel.

The 4th bedroom is fitted with 2 single beds and has partial views. The 5th bedroom is fitted with 1 single bed. Bathroom 1 has only a shower, whilst Bathroom 2 has a bath and toilet. Guest toilet (downstairs).

Facilities


The unit is completely self-catering with all mod cons, including washing machine and tumble drier fitted in the outside laundry. The laundry opens into a lock-up dry yard. There is a large fridge/freezer and a dishwasher. There is also an alarm system, and a TV with DSTV (bring your own smart card) is located in the downstairs lounge. TV reception is exceptionally poor unless channelled through a satellite dish, so a smart card is therefore essential for viewing. A DVD player and portable radio are also supplied.

Linen and bath towels are provided, but tenants need to supply their own beach towels. There is a Weber braai on the patio and a double carport. Telephone, calls levied at current Telkom rates.

Complex features


Large rim flow fresh water adult and kiddies swimming pool. The pool area is fenced-in but neither pool has a net covering. This area is fitted with loungers and umbrellas overlooking the lagoon, sea, Beacon Isle Hotel and mountains. There is a squash court with shower facilities, and tenants are to supply their own racquets & balls. There is 24 hour security check point at access into and out of the complex.
