FOR BOOKINGS 30 WORKING DAYS AND LESS: 
A booking is a binding agreement. 
The full payment of the booking stay is required to confirm the booking. 
100% of the total booking fee if booking is cancelled 30 working days or less prior to arrival date or non-arrival, guests will forfeit the total value of the booking. 
 
FOR BOOKINGS MORE THAN 30 WORKING DAYS IN ADVANCE: 
A booking is a binding agreement. 
50% non-refundable deposit secures the booking. 
The balance of the booking fee is to be made no less than 5 working days before arrival date. 
100% of the total booking fee if booking is cancelled 30 working days or less prior to arrival date or non-arrival, guests will forfeit the total value of the booking. 
 
As expected we run a tightly controlled finance department due to the very risk of fraud. A 15% handling fee is levied for costs involved on all cancellation refunds. 
 
We suggest you consider travel insurance to cover any losses incurred if unforeseen circumstances force you to alter your travel plans. It is relatively affordable and well worth it.

It is a unique, comfortable and exclusive non-pretentious ‘one of a kind’ bush chalet for two people. This romantic hide-away is known for morning walks with picnic basket or farmhouse breakfasts on the deck with freshly baked scones, cream and jam. Its private boma area and wooden decks boast breathtaking views of sunsets and the Magalisburg Mountains including hot air balloons and a large variety of birds’ indigenous to the area. The unit comprises an exclusive and unique one bedroom unit with bathroom for two persons sharing. It has a King size bed, bush kitchen with bar fridge, private Boma area, small thatch bar, private splash pool and a Jetmaster Hex Fire place.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I have to pay a deposit?

This is a sign of good faith. Properties hold rooms for you, which they could sell to someone else, so if you don't turn up, they lose revenue. By paying a deposit of 50% (industry standard) you show the property that you are intending to arrive and they will accordingly turn others away.

Can I pay the deposit at month end?

That depends on the property. Many have real time booking calendars, allowing people to book instantly online. If that's the case, bookings are first-come-first-book, and no rooms will be held provisionally unless specifically arranged. Send a request and ask for a specific payment date and they'll get back to you.

What is 3D Secure?

This is a security layer which checks that the person making the payment is the authorised cardholder by way of a one-time pin delivered by SMS or a secret code, ensuring the safety of your card.

3D secure is a legislated prerequisite for all online purchases in South Africa.
