Situated in the beautiful central Garden Route town of George at the foot of the lovely Outeniqua Mountains, Avocet House offers quality self catering or bed and breakfast accommodation in a quiet cul de sac, in an upmarket area within walking distance of the city centre.

Accomodation


Three spacious double, en suite rooms suitable for Bed & Breakfast or self catering. It sleeps a total of 6 people, although a stretcher can be put up for a child.

Two of the rooms have a full bathroom with a shower, toilet, bath and bidet, and the 3rd room has a shower and toilet. These two adjoining rooms are ideal for a group or 3 or 4 people wanting to self cater together as they share a dining room and kitchen.

The 3rd is separate with its own private entrance and ideal for 1 or 2 people and is like a bachelor flat. All rooms have separate entrances and private patios.

The TV has M-Net and DSTV.
All rooms are comfortably furnished with a couch or chair for TV viewing.
A “home from home” many guests have said.

The 2 bedroomed unit has a 4 plate hob.
The 1 bedroomed unit has a 2 plate hob.
Reasonable rates for a group of 4 people sharing the self catering accommodation which has a dining room table and a fully equipped kitchen .

A variety of restaurants are either within walking distance or a short drive away.

Notes


Long term, self catering stays can be arranged in the bachelor flat unit with a discount in rates. In this case the flat is serviced once a week.

Unfortunately no pets are allowed and smoking is permitted on the patios only.
Your hosts speak English and Afrikaans.
