Avian Leisure has a magnificent situation at the top of Froggy Farm, Simon’s Town, overlooking False Bay and is set amidst pristine Cape Fynbos - this means you can see whales, penguins and a host of other birds right from your bedroom. For nature lovers and other discerning tourists who want luxurious yet affordable self-catering accommodation in natural surroundings. AccommodationWe have two spacious and modern apartments, both with their own private entrances and ample off road parking. A laundry service is available in the village. All towels and linen are provided and are changed twice a week. The apartments are serviced on a twice weekly basis. Shearwater: Shearwater, with its unrestricted and fabulous sea views, sleeps up to 4 adults comfortably. Facilities include a large open plan living room with self-contained kitchen and dining and sitting areas, a large sea-facing master bedroom and a second bedroom, both with twin beds, and two bathrooms, one with shower and one with bath. Both living room and master bedroom face onto a large wooden deck with views in all directions. The kitchen is fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave, fridge, crockery and cooking equipment. TV and telephone available and Kettle braai by arrangement. Watsonia: Watsonia is a one bedroomed suite, with twin beds, a bathroom with large shower, and a light and airy living room with small but well equipped kitchenette (fridge, microwave, hob, crockery and cooking equipment). TV. Garden access provides stunning sea and mountain views. LocationWe are ideally situated to explore the delights of the Western Cape, from Cape Point to the Cape Winelands: • Simons Town is a charming and historic village offering warm hospitality and a relaxed atmosphere • Variety of good restaurants and shops • Safe, sheltered bathing beaches on the warm water side of the Peninsula • Access to a myriad of activities, experiences and sights - sea fishing, hiking, scuba diving, canoeing, bird watching, pelagic trips, whale watching, golfing, shark viewing, to name but a few. And over and above all this, there are the simple pleasures of waking to a spectacular sunrise, and watching the full moon emerge over the bay, a truly magical experience!
