Ascot Gardens "Home from Home" self catering Cape Town accommodation is situated in Bergvliet in the Constantia Valley. A quiet, safe, leafy suburb, only 16 kms (20 minutes drive) from Cape Town center, the Waterfront and beaches is ideally positioned in the center of the Cape Peninsula.
Accommodation
The fully equipped self-catering suites are situated in a beautiful 1-acre garden. All rooms and apartment have private entrances, covered outdoor patios with their own braai areas. Other facilities in the units includes free Wi-Fi, TV with full premium DStv, DVD's, music centers, clock radios, wall safes and ceiling fans.
All bed linen, bath towels, utensils, and crockery are provided. There is an ironing board and iron in each suite, plus garbage bags, toilet rolls and dish washing liquid. Please see the detailed unit descriptions below to assist with your choice.
Your Hosts
Owner managers Lesley and Barry live on an adjoining property and therefore do not encroach on your privacy. We have no dogs or cats or noisy children of our own disturbing your quiet and peaceful garden surroundings.
LOCATION & EXPERIENCES
Bergvliet's attraction is its quietness and no traffic or crime problems. There is easy access to the M3 and M5 motor ways, which link to the City Centre/ Waterfront, and to all the local attractions and beaches, within 20-40 minutes.
Ascot Gardens is therefore an ideal base for touring and sight seeing around Cape Town. We are also only a ten minute walk from the train station, shopping centre and six good local restaurants. The airport, V&A Waterfront, City Centre and Table Mountain are 20 minutes drive away and the seven Constantia Wine farms, only five minutes away.
