AccommodationA comfortable queen-sized bed (with cotton-percale linen), dressing table, couch and dining table are provided. There is a fully-equipped kitchenette overlooking a gorgeous view of Lion’s Head. Entertainment is on hand courtesy of DStv compact (full bouquet provided for an extra fee) and an iPod-compatible music system. The bathroom is newly renovated, and has a large, comfortable shower. The flat can accommodate a maximum of two people. Secure off-street parking is included. The building is well maintained and has a newly-installed lift. LocationThe apartment is convenient for meetings in the CBD; the location also makes it perfect for doing courses at the UCT business school and taking part in conferences at the CTICC. AttractionsApartment 616 is an excellent launch pad from which to enjoy the beauty and aliveness of Cape Town. To begin with the V&A Waterfront is a 15 minute walk. Many tours and expeditions begin at the Waterfront, including: the Robben Island tour, a tour of the winelands, tours of the city, boat cruises and the Two-Oceans aquarium. Even closer to home are a suite of café’s, delis, designer clothes shops and quality restaurants in De Waterkant and Green Point. (Apartment 616 lies right on the border between the two suburbs). Furniture shops, car and scooter hire places, a small supermarket (the list goes on) are all in walking distance. The Cape Town International airport is a 25-minute drive from the apartment. The picturesque suburb of Mouille Point, which meets up with the historic and enjoyable Sea Point promenade, is a 5-minute drive. A short drive through Sea Point takes you to Clifton Beach, one of Cape Town’s most popular beaches. A little further along is Camps Bay Beach which offers a number of upmarket restaurants, ice-cream shops and coffee shops for those wanting to eat or have sundowners close to the sea. The CBD is nearby - a 5-minute drive - and it is a thriving business centre. In town Long street is a tourist-friendly street with clothes by local designers for sale, second-hand book stores, bead shops, music shops and plenty of clubs and nightlife. ACCREDITATIONS
