Drive through Knysna town past the Knysna Provincial Hospital until you come to a Kwik Spar and Caltex garage on your right. Take the very next right turn onto George Rex Drive. Drive for approximately 3.5km (past the Knysna Golf Course on your left) and then take the turn-off for Leisure Isle on your right (Armstrong Road – this is the causeway to the island). At the four-way stop, you will see a guard hut ahead. Take the first road on your left (Woodbourne Road). After 1km Woodbourne Road becomes Cearn Drive. Amanzi Island Lodge is number 31.
