About Albert House B&B
Whether you are a tourist passing through the historic town of Cradock or on business needing quality overnight accommodation, Albert House B&B is your answer. Set in neat gardens on a large erf with plenty of shade provided by fruit and other trees, the establishment lies in a tranquil area, yet conveniently close to shops and historical sites.
We have a variety of fruit trees such as pear, quince, grapes, lemon, orange, peach, plum, a pomegranate and we have our own organic worm farm. Therefore there is no artificial fertilizers used, only organic!
Albert House B&B offers six en suite rooms, five of which have garden entrances. Each room has a television with Cable TV, microwave oven, kettle, tea and coffee tray and fridge. Rooms also have air conditioners.
Bathrooms have amenities such as soap, shower gel / shampoo and body lotion. The rooms also have working space for your laptops. A fan for the summer and also heaters and electric blankets for those cold winter days are provided.
A full English breakfast is served in the main house dining room, with fresh coffee that is solar roasted in Cradock. The eggs we use for the breakfasts come from a local organic farm. At breakfast we also serve you a fruit platter and also a variety of cereals.
Guests who want to enjoy a meal al fresco are welcome to use the convenient barbecue facilities set beneath the canopy of a sprawling 130 year old pear tree in the garden or just sit and relax under the 170 year old wild olive tree. We do not have a liquor licence.
Secure off-road parking is standard for all guests.
