This is certainly the poshest bush lodge I have ever stayed.I love the combination of thatch architecture and careful detail to the animal drawings in the roof.The interior decor done by the director is splendid.
The food and lavish collection of South African wines makes me want to come back over and over again.The bedroom comfort and the idea of Wi-Fi makes it pleasurable to combine work and leisure. Our clients who recommended Akwaaba definitely made a good choice.

We have enjoyed every aspect of South African wildlife in the Pilanesburg area. This is why we came to South Africa but a bit disappointed when we could not stay at Suncity. Now that we have known Akwaaba lodge we will never book into any place else. We could do all the game viewing and drives and feel AT HOME at Akwaaba instead of being squashed in a hotel. The decor, food, wine, care hospitality and attention to detail with all the techs of the city makes this place home away from home.
See you guys next year for the Confederation cup and remember we have booked.

I want to know how you guys could "taxidermy" so many bufalos and elephants on the well groomed thatch roof.That on its own is a tourist attraction.I have never seen anything like that any where.
Excellent facility and good hospitable staff.
The game drives were good and the Suncity trips were relaxing.
The tranquility makes for excellent reading time.I could catch up on work thanks to the wi-fi and all.
The venison meals were astonishing and palatable.2010 is booked for me and my friends....please reserve 12 rooms for us.We are coming from Texas,New Jersey and Chicago.Culham |
