Absolutely AMAZING. Really lovely rooms, stunning breakfast and the greatest hospitality you can imagine. Really really good value. Liz and Ian are just exceptional hosts. We came to joburg for a saturday evening funtion and I checked with Liz that it would be okay for our children's retired nanny to come in and baby sit - no problem she was most welcome. The next day Liz called me and said she was wondering how we would get our nanny back home late after the function - would I like her to make a bed in the children's room so she could spend the night there too? Now how is THAT for service? We had such a relaxed evening and even took the opportunity to get up a do a cycle race early next morning with the children still happily taken care of! Will without a doubt, stay there again - the kids voted it "the best place we have ever stayed that we paid for'! |

If you are tired of the formal, rigid, uniform-looking hotel chains, try Liz's home, where you will be treated as a human person, not only a room number. |

Wow, wow, the wleocme was awesome and now we understand why Liz and Ian decided to call the Bed and Breakfast "A hundred and thousand welcomes"!
Our stay with Liz and Ian was fantastic, the room was clean and had a sense of freshness while breakfast was super courtesy of Liz. One thing that we liked most is that Liz is very flexible with the breakfast times because we had to have our breakfast a bit early in order to catch our appointment.
We will definetely be staying there for our next visit to Joburg in May. |

A wonderful B&B. The room was clean and simply but elegantly furnished. Best of all, Liz is an amazing hostess and so wonderful and interesting to talk to! She even helped me iron my dress the morning of the wedding I was attending :). Awesome hospitality! |

We were attending a wedding in Joburg and were so lucky to find and stay in this wonderful home. From the moment of our arrival we were made to feel part of the family.Liz and Iain went beyond the call of duty as they arranged taxis for usLiz took Kay to hairdressers and beautician having made appointments at same.Iain rang golf clubs on behalf of Peter and I,drove us to new inlaws and showed us some interesting temples on route.
The house garden and pool is beautiful and the location is very safe and within walking distance of markets, restaurants etc.
The rooms were clean and very nice.
There was an aura of peace and love everywhere.
The breakfasts were great.
We would stay nowhere else in Joburg |

An absolutely wonderful place to stay and probably the best decision we made on our vist to Jozi for the world cup. Liz & Iain made us welcome from the start and were the perfect hosts, going way beyond the call of duty to make sure we had a great time. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the three course breakfasts were superb and the care and friendship shown to us by our hosts will live long in the memory. When next I am in South Africa I won't be staying anywhere else. Ceud Mile Failte is a wee gem!!!! |
