About Addo Reach & Hein's Cottage
Alicedale, a hidden gem in the Eastern Capeís Frontier District, is home to Addo Reach and Heinís Cottage. Just an hourís drive from Port Elizabeth International Airport and a fifteen minute drive from a turnoff on the N10, it makes an ideal stop over for those travelling to or from Cape Town and the beautiful Garden Route, or R62. Settled in the horseshoe of the Bushmans River, where the Bushmans River is joined by the Newejaarsrivier and surrounded by beautiful hills forming of the Zuurberg Moutains, Alicedale offers a peaceful, malaria free space where, except for passing trains, the sounds you will hear are the birds singing.
