Great accommodation for four of us on a business trip! Within easy walking distance from the V&A Waterfront (even for near 60 year-olds). Everything one needs, including ironing board and iron. Comfortable rooms and lounge. Book for an extra day to ensure you have time to study all the interesting artwork on the walls!

I booked 9 of our guys into 6 St. John's Terrace for 10 days in August. All had their own beds and space and comforts, and all found the place very satisfactory.

My family of 8 escaped the heat of our desert nation by relaxing in Cape Town in June / July, and stayed for a full month at 6 St. John's Terrace.

Everything was to our satisfaction and all our needs perfectly met.

The chances are very good that we'll be back here again in 2009.

The Cape Town June weather was awful. St John's Terrace was terrific. We scored.

As an amateur painter I was absolutely fascinated with the wealth of lovely things Bernie has accummulated from all over the world and displayed everywhere in the house. They've given me some great ideas for future paintings.

My 2 daughters and I stayed for 5 days in June before continuing to Zambia on our travels, and couldn't have been more comfortable. We each had our own room and bathroom, and the use of every appliance that we weren't very likely to see too much of further north.

All in all, a perfect stay.

My family of 4 and one young guest from London had a perfect stay at 6 St. John's Terrace. We were and are still in awe of the lovely artwork and things on display on every wall.

Comfortable and Excellently Convenient about sums it up.

Excellently situated for easy access to the CTICC where we exhibited recently, 6 St. John's Terrace is also a warm and friendly place. Our group of 4 were able to rest, relax and put our feet up after long and busy days. And we intend to pitch tent here next year too.

We (sisters-in-law) plus a teenage son/nephew, spent a fabulous week at 6 St. John’s Terrace at the end of May/June 2008. Bernie could not have been more helpful, welcoming, and entertaining as a host and new best friend. He is a mine of information and goes out of his way to make sure his guests feel at home. The accommodation is very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and versatile for small or large parties. The kitchen is well-equipped, the beds are comfy, the views are stunning. Best of all is the location, location, location. A happy surprise was the artfully displayed memorabilia from Bernie’s trips around the world; many happy hours were spent relaxing and exploring the rooms for undiscovered pieces.

As ex-Capetonians living in the USA, we have no hesitation recommending this venue. Needless to say, we will be returning as often as possible to the most beautiful city in the world.

We were 4 adrenilin-junkies from northern England visiting the Western Cape for close encounters with the Great Whites of False Bay, and began our visit with a few days in Cape Town at St. John's Terrace. We could not have been happier or more spoiled, and shall recommend it to all our other junkie mates.

Comfortable accommodation & conveniently situated within easy access to the Waterfront. Spacious & interestingly decorated rooms. We enjoyed our stay & can recommend this property to anyone wishing to visit Cape Town.
