This was the perfect spot for us to unwind and relax. The high ceilings keep the house cool in summer and a fireplace warm in winter. The house is really well designed with a spacious central living area and 2 private en suite bedrooms at oppostie ends of the house. The veranda is perfect for watching the mountain, and the proximity to the river makes it easy to go for a stroll. We also liked being at the end of the village - much quieter than the entrace to Greyton. |

We enjoyed a lovely wedding anniversary weekend at 68 on Vlei. The setting of the house is perfect - it is great for staying at home and enjoying the views and the garden or otherwise strolling to town to visit the coffee shops and market. We will definitely be back! |

What a magical spot. Prime position on the edge of the village next to the river with rolling lawns and magnificent views from all windows. The house has everything you could need and more. There's a big open fireplace for the winter nights and the open volume ceiling and french doors must be perfect for the hotter days. The bird life is incredible and the Boesmanskloof hike a must - The start of the walk is just at the end of the road. A perfect place to indulge and relax. |
