About 2a Bolton Street
2a Bolton Street is a comfortable 4-bedroom family home sleeping up to seven people, situated in a leafy, tranquil suburb a short walk from the Knysna Golf Course Clubhouse. It's in the heart of suburban Knysna, between the town, Pezula and the eastern Head, about 1 km from the lagoon.
The home is set within a secluded, forested garden; living areas lead onto a deck, which overlooks a swimming pool and offers a treehouse-like view into the surrounding trees. It's a bird-lover's paradise. Knysna loeries are not uncommon visitors; orioles, sunbirds, flycatchers and coucals frequent. Awake to the call of a brown-hooded kingfisher and be charmed in the evening by the buff-spotted flufftail’s melancholic hoot.
Self Catering Accommodation
The home has a spacious main bedroom suite with bathroom. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, each with a double (queen) bed; they share a bathroom. A play area between these bedrooms has a sleeper-couch. Downstairs, a 4th bedroom has a single bed opposite the guest bathroom, which also has a shower.
The main bedroom has a combination-lock safe for valuables. A wireless internet dongle will be handed over on arrival, subject to a deposit for it being paid.
Features & Facilities
The lounge area has an open fireplace; a 40" TV has DStv and DVD; the adjacent dining area has a table that seats eight comfortably and both areas are overlooked by the open-plan kitchen, which has a gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and drier.
Double doors lead from both lounge and dining areas onto the deck, which has a 6-seater table under roof. A Weber barbeque is available.
The home is serviced once per week, when linen and towels are changed; further servicing is by arrangement.
It must be noted that there are stairs without balustrades and handrails, surfaces may be slippery when wet and the swimming pool is not fenced off from the living areas. The property is not suitable for young children and the elderly.
