1 Santana Sands is a luxury 6 sleeper apartment situated on the secluded beach of La Mercy on KwaZulu Natal’s Dolphin Coast. This spacious 3 bedroom (all en-suite) duplex apartment offers unspoilt sea views throughout. With its chic, contemporary beach tones, this spacious apartment has been interior decorated and is stylish and fresh.

Accommodation

Downstairs a large open plan living / dining area opens onto a private garden with shimmering pool and braai facilities. The cocktail bar flows seamlessly through to the outside entertainment area. The modern fully equipped kitchen comes with washing machine, dryer, fridge, glass top stove and microwave. Relax in the lovely lounge area, equipped with DSTV and upmarket furnishings.

Upstairs the bedrooms all offer magnificent breaker views and open onto a large patio. The queen bedded main bedroom is en-suite with designer open plan bathroom (toilet, shower and bath). The second bedroom is a double bedded room with en suite bathroom. The third bedroom has two single beds and en suite bathroom. All bedrooms are air-conditioned. A single camp cot is available for parents with babies/toddlers.

Facilities

Linen is provided with the exception of beach towels.

Santana Sands is a secure complex with a security guard, automated gates and private parking. The apartment is serviced daily from Mondays to Fridays. Service on a Saturday and Sunday can be arranged at extra cost. No smoking is allowed in the apartment and no pets.

Location

Umdloti is 7 minutes away and offers a wide range of restaurants and other service facilities, namely a petrol station, pharmacy, hardware store, two supermarkets, post office, a medical doctor and a liquor store. Umdloti Beach is a popular swimming beach where rock and surf fishing are popular pastimes, so bring along your fishing rods. The La Mercy Beach / lagoon area offers braai facilities, lapa, and children's play area. Kite surfing at the lagoon is a popular activity (there is also a kite surfing school).

La Mercy is a 10 minute drive from the Gateway Shopping Centre; a 5 minute drive from Sibaya Casino, an easy 12 minute drive from the Zimbali, Umhlali and Mount Edgecombe Golf Courses. Durban and uShaka Marine World are only a 25 minute drive away.
