Famous for its incredible mountain biking trails, the greater Knysna area offers easy riding, intermediate off-road and challenging single track rides.
Enjoy the Knysna Estuary; swimming, boating, canoeing, fishing, scuba diving and snorkeling are just some of your options. Knysna also offers fabulous beaches at Brenton and Buffels Bay.
Visit the Featherbed Nature Reserve; a ferry ride across the estuary brings you to the nature reserve where a 4 x 4 drawn trailer takes you to the top of the Western Head. You can then choose to walk back to the landing point along the breathtaking beautiful Bushbuck Trail (an easy 2.2km walk) or stay on the trailer. See the Knysna Loerie, Knysna seahorse and the blue duiker. Refreshments are available at the restaurant. The tour lasts approximately four hours.
