Really a wonderful surrounding and atmosphere for relaxed holidays. We are golfers from Switzerland, so the best place to stay in George. From here you can play the most beautiful golf-courses you can imagine. Meet Gerdi and Horst as superb hosts. We where impressed by large rooms as well as the comfortable selfcatering cottage.
If you are in the self-catering cottage please don't miss their delicious breakfast. I mean, otherwise you will regret it. Coming to SA for already 10 years we must say : Gerdi and Horst you deserve ******* STAR - accommodation. THANK YOU AGAIN - SEE YOU NEXT YEAR.

I am a keen golfer from Germany and have been in South Africa at least 16 times. A friend introduced
me to Horst and Gerdi Schiebe and their lovely Guest House in 1995 and since then I have been their guest every year on my return visits to George.
The warm welcome, the spacious light rooms, mouthwatering breakfast and the beautiful garden
make me look forward to my next visit!!

We stayed for 3 days and it was better than a 5 star hotel because Gerdi and Horst were so welcoming and helpful and even took us on a 4 hour tramp into the mountains. The property is on a lovely tree lined road close to excellent restaurants. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated.
Breakfasts were excellent We have stayed in over a hundred B&B's in many countries and No 10 Caledon Street is in the top 3! |
