Self Catering Apartment

Quayside Waterfront Apartment sleeps six guests in three bedrooms. The main living areas are double volume and all three rooms have glass walls and doors facing the ocean. Each bedroom is furnished with a King-size bed and has an en suite bathroom. The main bedroom is suspended in the air with glass walls framing the view and it has a walk in shower and toilet with a separate bathtub and basin. The second and third bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin.

The kitchen is fully fitted with a separate scullery, housing a dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. The kitchen dining area has a Caesar stone centre island surrounded by eight white leather chairs. The kitchen is equipped with a Nespresso Coffee Machine, stove, oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. The apartment has free WiFi. The entire apartment is fully tiled with ducted air-conditioning. The TV lounge is equipped with a Smart TV, Netflix, Showmax DStv on demand and board games.

This apartment has its own deck from which you can enjoy lazy afternoon braais and throw bread directly into the canal and feed the fish (there has sometimes been Barracuda over 2m long spotted). The apartment block has a communal swimming pool.

The Beach

The apartment is a short walk to Vetchies beach, Durban Undersea Club and The Beach Club known by locals as DUC . Vetchies Beach has calm waters and is ideal beach for small children and families. It is protected by a natural reef, you often spot snorkelers and spear fisherman, and on those perfect balmy days when the ocean is beautifully flat you will see large Catamaran and sailboats dock offshore.

Entertainment

A stone's throw away is uShaka Marine World and Water Park which offers a host of activities. Kids and adults alike will definitely enjoy the water park with the highest slide in the southern hemisphere, numerous splash pools, a lazy river ride, dolphin and seal shows daily. uShaka Shopping Mall caters for all needs with dozens of restaurants and take-aways.

Security

The entire Point Precinct operates its own internal security and all areas are covered by CCTV with a control room operated from under uShaka. Holiday makers walk leisurely around at night. One can hire a gondola and sail up and down the canals.
