Your wedding day is the most
precious day of your life, your biggest and most beautiful celebration. It is a day that
will mirror the two people who join in union. It takes months to plan and then when the
day finally arrives it flies past in a blend of moments laced with nerves, excitement,
formalities and people.
I take these moments and turn them into memories, capturing every detail of your day. Even
those moments you miss; there are just too many to absorb. You may not notice…
• the groom and his best man sharing a joke
• the bride and her father smiling at each other
• the rich folds in the material of your dress
• the detail on his tie and jacket
• holding hands
• the first sip of champagne together
• a perfect flower in a centrepiece
• the magic of sugar art on the cake
• giggles and gasps at a naughty joke
Your wedding day is filled with so much detail and so many special moments. I make sure
that when this day is over you are left with exquisite memories, ones that you may revisit
as many times as you wish.
Photography has always been a passion of mine and in particular wedding photography as
these events always involve love, joy and all things nice. There is nothing more
satisfying than capturing the essence of a couple on their magic day, surrounded by the
people they hold most dear. I have been actively involved in wedding photography since
2000 and have completed a course in this fine art at the National College of Photography
in 2004.
A pre-wedding consultation will ensure that the couple is prepared for and relaxed on the
day. I make use of the features at the venue to add ambience and mood to natural
photographs as witnessed through the eyes of a passer by, at all times avoiding pre-posed
unnatural shots. The most formal of the photographs will be those taken of close family
and the couple’s entourage.
My sole purpose as wedding photographer is to capture every precious moment of the entire
celebration and present this as a package of beautiful memories to the couple to cherish
“as long as they both shall live”. |
