About the Eastern Cape Highlands
The Eastern Cape Highlands, also known as "The Wild Side of the Drakensberg" is growing in popularity as a safe and un-commercialised mountain destination with spectacular scenery. The area is most famous for itís winter snowfalls, but is as yet relatively undiscovered as a summer destination, despite having an ideal climate for outdoor activities from September through until April, never getting unpleasantly hot.
