Wedding Concepts is run by Anne Mann and Christina Holt who specialise in co-coordinating weddings for couples living abroad and wishing to be married in Cape Town and surrounding areas. Their boutique style business focuses on a select number of distinctive weddings each year and prides itself in a highly individual service and an excellent working knowledge of the industry.

The teams’ international coordination experience ensures a highly professional yet very warm & personal way of designing, creating & overseeing all arrangements for an exceptional wedding celebration. Their appreciation of the years of dreaming and months of planning that go into creating a perfect wedding, make the planning a most enjoyable and stress free experience. Each celebration is unique and should capture the distinctiveness and personality of the bride & groom.

Wedding Concepts also offer specialized coordination for intimate weddings of between 2-20 people.

FIRST STEPS

After the initial contact, a list of questions will be sent via e-mail to assist us in getting to know you and your vision for the day. This information will allow us to assess your preferences, the size and the style of your wedding celebration. Thereafter we will be able to draft a detailed proposal for you, outline our fees and help you budget for all services & suppliers required.

OVERVIEW OF SERVICES

• Assistance in selecting and carefully matching a ceremony and reception venue to the couples unique needs and ideas
• Providing quotations & budget updates for discussion & approval as we personalise the wedding arrangements
• Ensuring that a realistic budget is adhered to on behalf of the bride & groom
• Setting an action plan and ultimately arranging a schedule of timing for the day.
• Selecting a Minister or marriage officer
• Assistance with obtaining quotes, booking and briefing all service providers including: decorators, florists, lighting experts, cake makers, photographers, videographers, musicians, transport, graphic designers, printers, dress makers, hair stylists, make-up artists etc.
• Conceptualising and design of décor, structural elements, flowers, lighting and the overall ambience
• Design of a wedding web site and email communication (if required).
• Printing of all stationery including invitations, menus, order of service sheets, seating plans and place cards.
• Advising on menus, suitable culinary choices and bar facilities.
• Arranging & booking pre & post wedding accommodation & leisure activities
• Personally overseeing all arrangements at the venue on the wedding day

ACTION

An action plan and time plan will be drafted that provides both parties with guidelines for the months ahead. We liaise with the venue and all suppliers on your behalf, hold regular briefings and arrange for mock-ups of the floral décor as well as a menu tasting. We personally oversee all detailed arrangements on the wedding day, to allow the bridal couple peace of mind.
