Your day should project your unique individuality. The overall theme of your wedding
should be an extension of the personalities of the Bride and Groom. An experience that
captures your true essence will be carried through from the invitation design to your
departure at the end of the reception. The expectations of your guests have to be exceeded
by far.
It is of utmost importance to follow the trends set around the world - it is even more
stimulating to be a trend setter!
The Starting Point:
A consultation and/or correspondence between us will allow us to assess your individual
needs and preferences. This does not bind you to our services. Recommendations will then
be made followed by a proposal and a suggested budget, indicating an estimation of what
the total wedding expense could amount to, will be presented. On acceptance, we will work
closely to plan and co-ordinate your special day.
Our continuous liaison with the venue guarantees peace of mind to the bridal couple.
Mock-ups of the floral décor will be provided. Sample tastings of the menu and
accompanying wines can be arranged. On your big day, we will personally be present to
oversee the detailed arrangements of your wedding, and ensure perfection, harmony and an
overall enjoyable experience for you, your family and guests.
We are passionate about what we do and will ensure that your wedding speaks of style and
elegance - a stress free experience handled on a personal basis. Our vision is one of
originality and attention to the finest detail.
A summary of services offered:
Assistance and advice with the selection of the venue for the ceremony and the
reception.
Assistance in selecting accommodation for the Bridal Couple and/or their guests.
Liaison between the Bridal Couple and professional service providers.
Assistance with the selection of the following service providers:
Stationery consultants and designers,
The minister,
Florists and décor consultants,
Entertainment and music,
Renowned chef(s) and caterers,
Photographers / Video coverage,
Make-up artists and hair stylists,
Aroma therapists,
Transport,
Bar-service specialists
Obtain quotations from high profile, professional, yet reasonably priced service
providers.
Menu compilation and selection of suitable wines, specifying brands, cultivars and
vintages.
Compiling an action list to ensure that deadlines specified by both parties are
adhered to.
Preparing a comprehensive timing schedule/programme for the day of the wedding.
Meeting with and providing guidance to the master of ceremonies prior to the
wedding.
Organizing and perfecting any pre-wedding function(s).
Post-wedding feedback meeting to wrap up the event.
About Aleit:
As founder of The Aleit Group, I took a circuitous career route before The Aleit Group
came into being. I started in the hospitality industry in 1991 and worked in various
up-market hotels in and around South Africa, before heading a five-star restaurant in the
wine district of Stellenbosch. During this period I was involved in over two hundred
weddings and corporate events, and many more since 2002, when I started Aleit Wedding and
Function Coordination. I hold a business degree and am a member of the Public Relations
Institute of South Africa, which enhances the overall professionalism and global vision
that I believe in. My years of experience in the wine industry complement my overall
ability to adjust to the versatile and ever changing industry ...
In October 2006, we moved to larger premises and became The Aleit Group, consisting of the
following companies:
Aleit Wedding Coordination, run by two very experienced, senior coordinators /
managers and
support staff.
Aleit Event Projects, which serves the corporate world and their needs for
well-run, smart events.
Aleit Shop, a virtual shop, entirely Internet-based, which specialises in wedding
gifts.
Aleit Music and Entertainment, which provides live music, classical and other, and
DJ services,
to events.
April 2007 was Aleit Event Projects turn to be in the spotlight, and was featured on
Pasellas (SABC2) new prime time slot.

Channel CNBCA (a personal finance programme) asked me to appear on a show so, in August
2007, I appeared on an interview called A live Interview with The Aleit Group.
This was aired on 11, 13 and 14 October 2007.
In September 2007, we launched our first European outlet Aleit Munich, manned by
Doreen Winking, a German national, whos own wedding was coordinated by The Aleit
Group, in 2005 in South Africa. Doreen was delighted with the experience and started
wondering about the business potential of a wedding coordinating service in Munich
specializing in the creation of similar weddings. With her charm, competence and business
acumen, we found the perfect business partner abroad.
My wife and I were also aired in our private capacity on the KYKNET programme -
Tuine en Tossels - where I got the chance to show off my wife, garden and
home.
In December 2007, it was the launch of my first book: 100 Words about Weddings
at Clouds Estate, a best-seller.
Summarising 2007: We are now the most published wedding and events coordinating company in
