Originally known as the Agterkliphoogte Co-op, this winery was renamed Wandsbeck in 2004. It comprises 20 different members with grapes from 12 farms in the surrounding Robertson area. The original farm was established in the early part of the 17th century, although formal wine production only began in 1965. Since then, a number of great quaffing wines have been produced under this label.
Wandsbeck Wine Farm produces two reds (Revelation and a Cabernet Sauvignon), two whites (Revelation and a Sauvignon Blanc) a rosé wine and a Muscadel for an indulgent post-prandial treat. These wines are affordable, making them ideal for bulk buyers or those wanting to stock their private cellars.
The greenery of the La Chasseur and Wandsbeck areas gives this entire part of the Robertson Valley a lush, fertile scene in which to enjoy quality wines with friends.
