About Thyme at Rosemary
Highly recommended on TripAdvisor and proud recipients of the 2014 Certificate of Excellence, Thyme at Rosemary is an elegant restaurant on Gansbaai’s main road, characterised by classic Victorian charm.
While Gansbaai is a small town, it is a hot tourist attraction for shark cage diving, as well as the heritage that comes with being an old fishing village that still serves this purpose. Therefore, while it has a small, quiet hub, the tourism attractions of Gansbaai do not disappoint.
Thyme at Rosemary is set within this historical era, and its décor reflects this. Patrons are invited to enjoy the fresh seafood and traditional South African dishes in this cosy setting. During the day, the beauty of the Western Cape can be enjoyed under two huge fig trees.
The restaurant is fully licensed, and the owner and namesake, Rosemary, is warm and welcoming.
