About The Fat Cactus
The Fat Cactus on Durban Road in Mowbray is somewhat of an institution in the Southern Suburbs offering some of the very best Mexican food in town. Their home on the corner is always buzzing with activity be it for a quite lunch, jugs of margarita's during happy hour or a birthday dinner.
The portions are generous and offer all things to delight the taste buds. From the punchy pickled spice of the jalepeno poppers to the sheer decadence of the piles of melted cheese towering the nacho's. You will not leave hungry, in fact you'll be planning your next visit.
With friendly staff who are attentive and offer valuable advice when you're stuck deciding on what to eat you'll have a fabulous meal out. And if you're there from midday to 18h00 you can take advantage of the happy hour specials on jugs and tequila.
