About South Hill the Vineyards
The South Hill estate is found in the Elgin Valley where the climate is seemingly well suited to growing grapes of a very good quality for wine production. The estate is without exception an outstanding location with plenty of annual rainfall ensuring the vineyards are consistently watered. The estate also makes use of the drip irrigation system, which is not seen as a necessity, but is there in case it is required.
The vines produce excellent quality Cabernet Sauvignon grapes as well as Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. The area is particularly beautiful and you'll enjoy your visit immensely.
If you need a place to stay for a few days to get away from the hectic city life, why not book a night or two at South Hill? They have a variety of accommodation options as well as an onsite restaurant. And they are also available for weddings.
