Citrusdal is an exquisite part of the Western Cape, showcasing a completely different kind of beauty to the lush greenery for which areas like the Garden Route and the Cape Winelands are known. Many visitors discover that, once they have experienced Citrusdal, they fall in love with it and its people.
The Sandveldhuisie is a country shop and deli that invites visitors to come and experience its quaint charm as well as all that it has to offer. Fresh produce, home-baked treats, arts, crafts and gifts are all available here, and each contributes to the memorable experience. There is a coffee chop that boasts some of the finest baked goods in the area – a perfect place to stop for refreshments.
The Citrusdal Museum is close by and promises to be a fascinating insight into the area.
