The Salmonsdam Mountain Trail is situated in the nature reserve of the same name; close to the whale watching capital of South Africa, Hermanus. This area is scenic and inviting, popular for its peaceful atmosphere and beautiful vistas.

The Salmonsdam Mountain Trail is an easy circular trail that is four kilometres long. It begins at the foot of the Perdeberg Mountain and continues to a very rewarding lookout. It takes walkers along the coast as well as inland to show off as much of the natural landscape as possible. The entire trail takes about two hours to complete, and promises a spectacular backdrop.
