About Ridgemor Wines

If you’re dying to escape the bustle of the city and to picnic with spectacular views, pop into Ridgemor wines. One of the oldest farms in the area, Ridgemor was established in 1670. The first people to own it were Ridge and Morris who named it. The land formed part of Zandvliet and was used to farm cattle and tobacco. Due to its perfect position, soil and climate, it was converted into a wine farm. A Dutch family purchased it in 2003.

Their range includes a Chenin Blanc Reserve 2007, Chenin Blanc Voignier 2008 which is great with steak, lamps chops or a braai, Cabernet Franc and a Sauvignon Blanc 2008 perfect for tuna salads and light meals. Take a tour of the farm or get married in the renovated barn. They offer quad bike tours amongst the vineyards with views of Table Mountain, False Bay and the Helderberg Mountains. The quad bike trails are ideal for beginners and experienced riders.
