About Red Sofa Café
Coffee, breakfasts, light lunches, an atmosphere, the best DVDs in town, and free WiFi – that's Red Sofa Café in a nutshell.
One of the best little coffee shops in town, it began as an extension of the DVD store on Exner Avenue (that's one door down) and has evolved into a local hangout, particularly the freelance crowd who use this as their office-away-from-home.
They are renowned for their plate o' bacon (yes, that Is a serving of only bacon) and their standard serving of double shot coffee – which goes some way to explain the fact that the café is virtually always busy at breakfast time.
They also open their doors at 7am, during the week, so the early morning meeting crowd make it a habit of starting their day here (though take note: not on Mondays).
Other stuff on the menu includes the breakfast wrap with bacon, lock stock and croissant, the effing delicious, just about every fancy coffee you can think of, and craft beers (they are licensed), and you just might want to give that Red Sofa cheese burger a sample too.
Oh, and there is a red sofa.
