About Pitkos Farm Stall & Wine House
Worcester is a scenic Western Cape town that is set against beautiful mountains in the heart of the South African winelands. It is within these surrounds that the Pitkos Farm Stall & Wine House is nestled, inviting tourists from all over the world to sample local flavours and South African delights.
This stall offers an enormous array of goods from the nearby Nuy Valley, which is a magnificent oasis of fresh, delicious and homemade treats. Pitkos’ shelves are laden with olives, grapes, homemade preserves, dried fruit rolls, honey, roosterbrood, rusks, moerkoffie and traditional ginger beer. Ready-made picnic baskets can be ordered ahead of time, and the delicious snacks enjoyed under the trees outside. Savouring these tasty items within such breath-taking surrounds promises to be an unforgettable memory of Africa.
This region is renowned for its outstanding wines. Some of the local favourites are available at the Pitkos Wine House, and these make for excellent gifts and keepsakes to be enjoyed back home as a reminder of the quality that is being yielded by South African vines. The Muscadel is a popular choice for those who enjoy a sweet, fortified wine, particularly on a chilly winter’s nights.
