Overberg Charters’ aim is to celebrate the beauty of the ocean and the things to which it is home. So, the 22-foot catamaran can be used for fishing expeditions, site seeing, research trips, testing your skiing skills, or simply sipping on cocktails while enjoying a sunset cruise. Kleinmond, Gordon’s Bay and the stretch of coast in-between are popular fishing spots. Keen fishermen can try their hand at catching steenbras, kabeljou, elf, galjoen and snoek. In addition, rock lobster, mussels, oysters, and octopuses are readily available to those who go looking for them. Between November and January, the crayfish are at their peak, but there are strict regulations regarding the size and number of these delicious shellfish.
